Building ventilation
Airing by opening window versus building ventilation
One old house rule says: air your house properly two to four times a day for at least five minutes for good air exchange. But who always manages to think of airing? And even then - are you sure that there is enough fresh air in your rooms?
The perfect alternative to this airing is controlled living area ventilators. They measure humidity and CO2 content in the room and air exactly, when it is necessary. The only disadvantage: central living area ventilations treat all rooms the same and do not differentiate between different rooms in your house.
Exactly here Internorm's I-tec ventilation scores high. The ventilation is fitted in the window frame and can therefore be activated individually per window or also per room. The ventilation only switches on where it is needed and where it makes sense.
Advantages of the I-tec ventilation
Air humidity is not the same in every room and also CO2-consumption is very different. For example, air humidity is very high in a bathroom after showering. And more CO2 is used in a bedroom at night compared to a living room. Why should you also air all rooms at the same rate - like with a central house ventilation? In this way, energy is wasted unnecessarily.
With Internorm's I-tec ventilation you have the possibility to air each room separately and depending on humidity and CO2 content. This individual ventilation offers you many advantages:

- Individual for each room:
The intensity of air exchange can be controlled for each room individually. Different operation levels and a short term turbo mode (e.g. useful after a shower in the bathroom) ensure maximum performance - depending on requirements of the room. - Healthy living:
Airing happens continuous and without you needing to do anything for it. Damp air, unpleasant smells and pollutants are automatically exchanged for fresh air. Thus, your rooms are supplied with sufficient fresh air. You feel well and your performance is increased. - Fresh air against mould:
A humidity sensor activates ventilation when there is high humidity and prevents mould formation. Mould loves to grow in damp sealed rooms. - Increased burglary protection:
Open and tilted windows during airing are an invitation to any burglar. Your windows however remain closed with I-tec ventilation as the ventilation is situated in the window frame. Thus, you can leave your house with peace of mind - the window remains closed, yet your rooms are supplied with fresh air. - Energy saving:
An integrated heat exchanger makes heat recovery possible with up to 93%. The warmth from the sucked in used air heats up the fresh air from the outside. - Good bye to pollen & dust from outside:
All impurities stay in the filter - only clean fresh air enters the room. - Convenient control:
Generally, I-tec ventilation works automatically. Of course, it can also be operated with buttons directly at the window. Integration into home control or I-tec SmartWindow are also available. - No extra fitting necessary:
The ventilator is already integrated in the window frame, this means you will receive it straight away with your window delivery. The ventilator can also be built in without any problems for refurbishments as the appearance of the façade remains undisturbed.
This is how Internorm's I-tec ventilation works
Low energy costs
Not only can it be controlled individually, it is also good on your budget. Internorm's I-tec ventilation helps you save energy and uses less electricity and warmth than a central house ventilation or opening your windows.
