What has long been established as reliable source of information on energy efficiency in lamps and appliances is now also available for windows. In 2015, the window industry in Switzerland launched the energy label for windows.

With the new energy label, trendsetter Internorm proves the energy quality of its windows. Internorm is one of the very first in Switzerland to have all its premium windows certified by the FFF and SZFF associations and by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.

Internorm received certification for the following products:

• UPVC window, UPVC-aluminium window
  KF200, KF220, KF410, KF500
   
• Timber-aluminium window
  HF310

The windows are divided into seven energy efficiency classes, from A to G. The energy label divides energetically good windows into class A class and with poor efficiency into class G.

The label provides simple and clear information about which window systems are particularly suitable for minimising heat loss in winter and gaining energy. The term energy gain refers to heating the room by solar radiation.
