Internorm Architecture Competition

Now in its eighth edition, the Internorm Architecture Competition 2026 places ‘Windows in Focus’. In autumn 2026, exceptional small and large residential/commercial projects will be awarded – showcasing forward-thinking approaches to healthy living and sustainable building and renovation. Prizes will be awarded for new build and renovation projects which include Internorm windows and doors.

In association with our partners ‘architektur.aktuell’ and ‘Zentralvereinigung der Architekt-innen Österreichs’ (Central Association of Austrian Architects), we are offering a total prize fund of € 4,000 for the winning projects, which will be professionally photographed if required. The submitted projects will be assessed by a jury of experts. The jury will decide on the winners, who will then be announced.

Please submit your entry, together with supporting documentation, fully completed project description, photographic material (interior and exterior shots), as well as the declaration of consent to architektur@internorm.com by 19th August 2026.

Publication

  • Presentation of the award-winning projects on www.internorm.com/architecturecompetition2026

  • Detailed project documentation on www.internorm.com/architecturecompetition2026

  • Use of the photographic material in Internorm architectural documents with mention of the architect/planner

  • Use of the photographic material in Internorm sales documentation

  • Reports in the trade press and associated partner architektur.aktuell

  • Mention and presentation at events (internal and external)

  • The winning project will get the chance to be featured in trade magazines and Internorm publications.

  • Mention in online media and portals of Internorm and its sales/distribution partners

  • Presentation on Internorm social media channels (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram etc)

Launch Date: 3 June 2026
Submission Deadline: 19 August 2026
Judging Day: 6 October 2026
Announcement of the winners: mid-October 2026

The winners will be informed after the judging day.
