In 1998, Internorm put the first aluminium entrance door with foam insulation core on the market. Next to four aluminium door systems, Internorm also offers two timber/aluminium door systems today. Our customers value the high-quality processing and individual design possibilities. In 2015 therefore, the 500,000th entrance door was produced.
Manufacturing expertise and at the same time supplier independence was further extended with the erection of a plant to produce toughened security glass (ESG) on the Traun site.
The specially thermally insulating glass is characterised by increased impact strength and is resistant to large temperature differences.
I-tec ventilation and I-tec shading can be controlled via the intelligent home control. Controls for sun protection and fanlight opener as well as opening control are added later. Mobile control when you are on the way are possible through this, too.

For the first time glass panes are glued to the sash at Internorm. This considerably improves stability, thermal insulation, sound reduction, burglary protection and functioning of the window for its entire lifetime.
Internorm develops a completely new type of timber/aluminium window system and meets customers' demands for maintenance-free "timber windows".
The 2. generation withdraws from the operative business to the supervisory board of directors and delegates one of their children respectively – Anette Klinger, Christian Klinger and Stephan Kubinger – to the management board.

Internorm is building its first in-house insulating glass manufacture in Traun and in the meantime has become Austria's largest insulating glass manufacturer.
Internorm is starting to export to Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In Turkey, shares in the company Campen A. S., Bursa are acquired.
A UPVC window production plant is built at the Lannach site in Styria. In 1988 the first Internorm timber window are produced in this plant, nowadays the plant specialises in timber/aluminium products.
The revolutionary system "Internorm3“ - 3 panes and 3 gaskets - is introduced to the market with great success.
Internorm acquires a local window factory in Sarleinsbach/Upper Austria and converts this into a UPVC Competence Centre. In 1979, in-house extrusion starts.
Eduard Klinger sen. involves his three children Eleonore, Eduard and Helmut in the company with 25% stakes each.
In Traun in Upper Austria, a UPVC window factory is being built. This is also the birth of the Internorm brand. Internorm's first brand appearance occurs at the exhibition stand of E. KLINGER.
Klinger Metallbau is leading manufacturer of aluminium portals in Linz. For the first time large-scale glass architecture is possible through self-developed glazing beads.
Eduard Klinger sen. lay the foundation for the company with the formation of the building and construction locksmith's in Linz/OÖ.
